What photo metadata is and why it matters
Metadata is text embedded inside the image file itself: the title, the description and the keywords. Stock agencies read it automatically on upload and pre-fill the submission form. With properly embedded metadata you never retype anything.
Modern agencies rely on XMP (Extensible Metadata Platform) — the format read by Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Freepik and Dreamstime.

How is this different from a regular metadata editor

Which fields get embedded
Every JPG receives an XMP packet with standard Dublin Core fields:
- dc:title — the image title (up to 200 chars for Adobe Stock, 100 for Freepik);
- dc:description — a full description;
- dc:subject — keywords, each as a separate entry.

Does metadata survive downloading and re-uploading?
Yes. XMP is embedded inside the JPG, so the metadata travels with the file across downloads, emails and other agencies.
Can I edit what the AI wrote?
Yes. Every title, description and keyword list is editable in the results table. The ZIP re-embeds metadata on download — with your edits.
Do you write EXIF?
No. EXIF holds camera data (ISO, shutter speed) which stock sites don't need. Agencies read XMP — that is exactly what we embed.
Does it work with PNG?
Yes, you can upload PNG. For stock submission PNGs are converted to JPG with embedded XMP; the original PNG can be kept untouched (e.g. for Magnific).
